Pregancy

I'm six months pregnant and the baby has been starting to be very active. But the last 2 days i haven't felt the baby much at all.  I can feel some movement every once in a while but it is nothing compared to what it has been. Is this normal? I'm starting to worry

Thanks so much for the advice! I went ahead and called my doctor to make sure and the baby was very active yesterday :)

Juice would be better to drink than water. The sugar from the juice should make baby move lay on your left side and relax. You should be able to feel baby then. If you aren't feeling any movement or concerned about lack of movement call your OB and ask to be seen.

I'd say it's mostly likely normal. BUT if you're worried I'd call the doc and see what they say

When I reached my 6month of pregnancy I noticed this too, don't panic, my mum is a midwife and she said that at around this stage baby is growing and putting on weight-meaning there is less room for baby to move around-therefore less movement. As long as you are still feeling baby move daily, and ten movements is the guideline your baby should be fine. If you are really worried and don't feel baby move at all, drink some ice cold water as this can sometimes stimulate baby to move, but if you want to have your mind put at rest go to hospital and they can listen in and check things are OK. But from what you've described I wouldn't panic. xx
