So Im 16 and on the depo shot but have been taking antibiotics, and i have had sex and I think im pregnant. Its been almost a week. Any help?

I was taking depo and they told me to be careful when taking antibiotics. Maybe they were just use to telling birth control patients that.

In was on the depo for right about 2 yrs and got pregnant. It caused me to have false negative pregnancy test so I had to get the results from my Dr. In would make a appt with my Dr it could be nothing the depo has given ladies crazy symptoms thats why my Dr doesn't recommend the depo shot.

I got pregnant on the depo shot,  also I always had a regular period while I was getting it. I'd go see a doctor (:

I know a few people who got pregnant on depo, so it is possible, but antibiotics wouldn't effect it. There's no form of birth control that's 100% effective besides getting tubes tied and not having sex. So it is possible to get pregnant on any form of birth control

My sister-in-law got pregnant on those shots. Double check with your doctor hun.

You would have to go see a doctor being as to how depo actually stops your period

Depo injections would not be affected by taking oral antibiotics. Only estrogen containing oral contraceptive pills are affected by the concurrent use of antibiotics... However all forms of birth control have a failure rate. If you think you are pregnant wait until your period is due and take a test, or go to a clinic or your Dr for a blood test to confirm pregnancy.
