Pregnancy Scare?

Hi,

Here is my question, am i pregnant? I had sex on Thursday and Friday of last week when I was still on birth control, I then stopped taking birth control on sunday for that week because thats when I get my period. But, I had sex on Monday after I stopped taking birth control. My boyfriend never finishes inside me and, although I know this is bad, we have unprotected sex. I'm supposed to get my period today (Thursday). It seems like I have gotten it but it is A LOT lighter than usually. I have had mild cramps, for about a half hour, and then they were gone (this is usual for my period). I am bleeding a fair bit, but not as much as usual. There is a little clotting too which usually happens when I am on my period. Can someone please tell me I am not pregnant and that this is not implantation bleeding????

Oh also, I was away on a trip for about 3 weeks and my birth control got kind of messed up in the fact that I just had to change the time I was taking it at, but for those 3 weeks I still took it at the same time every day.

HELP please!

It doesn't really sound like you're pregnant to me. The only thing you say is different from usual is the amount of your flow and lots of things can affect that. Four pregnancies amd I've never experienced implantation bleeding but I've read it can take up to two weeks to happen. For it to happen on the exact day your period was supposed to start wouldn't be impossible but a very huge coincidence. My husband and I used nothing but the pull out method for birth control for 15 yrs and it wasn't until this pregnancy that we had an oopsie lol. The only way you'll know for certain is to take a pregnancy test.

Btw I my partner and I got pregnant on birth control and condoms. We used them religiously and I was always great about taking my pills at the same time everyday. don't rely on just the pill or your number could be pulled and you'll be a mommy

Well when I first started out I had a really heavy period around the time I usually had my period and didn't think anything of it. Little did I know two weeks before that I had conceived. Implantation bleeding doesn't occur until like the second week of pregnancy but then again everyone is different. I found out I was having twins and that's why my implantation bleeding was so much. But in your Case I would just stay calm and next week take a test I mean results don't really show up that good when until four weeks gestational. It sounds like a period to me but be careful!
