Pregnancy after Depo

I know that manufacturer of the Depo shot states that it could take up to 18 months to get pregnant after getting your last shot. I was on the depo for a little over a year and I am pretty sure that my last shot was in May, I then went on to the pill and was only on that for about 2 1/2 months. I am going to go crazy if I can't conceive for another year or so.  I am just curious to see if any of you were on this and got pregnant sooner

its been 7 yrs since since my last shot and im still not PG! I guess its not that but i still regret taking it! My SIL took 3 shots and it took her 12 months to get PG afterwards so i know its possible just not for me i guess! GL though if you got your AFs bk thats awesome took me 7 months just for that this last go around!

My last. Shot was 6 months ago. I had one period, can I ovulate

my friend got pregnant in way less than a year after depo, so it can happen.

I think I am ovulating, I always get EWCM about halfway through my cycle and cramps in my ovaries. For a while there I thought I was really late every month but I am starting to realize that I probably just have long cycles like around 38-40 days. I think I will do an OPK.

Well, I am also TTC after Depo! Last shot was in March of this year! I just got my (REGULAR) periods back in September and haven't got pregnant yet, but I am late this month so we'll see! I don't think it always takes 18 months and I dont think that Depo has anything to do with the fact that im not pregnant yet. Do you get your cycles regularly now??? If you do, then you are most likely ovulating too! Go buy some OPK's to see if you are ovulating. If it detects ovulation, then the medication from the depo has probably worn off and you are capable of getting pregnant! Hope that helps! Good Luck***
