Pregnancy symptoms

Pls can anyone tell me when to start experiencing pain in nipple as a pregnancy symptom?I had a painful nipple right immediately(one day) after I ovulated. It lasted for one week and stopped.I am having some cramping and my period is due today.I have tested and it says negative. Can anyone tell me if they had such experience and later on found they were pregnant? As far as I know pregnancy symptoms don't show until after some days.So what could the painful nipple mean?PMS  or what.Im just curious to know.Pls REPLY.

I meant to say you will have a period within 16 days of ovulation. SORRRY!

In pregnancy, your breasts can change almost immediately after conception. Also, in pregnancy your symptoms fluctuate (meaning sore one week, not sore the next). Or your cycles could be changing.

Your ovulation is not based on your period. Your period is based on your ovulation. Meaning that you will have a period within 16 days of your period. You don't always ovulate on cycle day 14 (or two weeks after your period). So if you ovulated late, your period could be late.
