Pregnancy with beta thalassemia and HH

My daughter has beta-thalassemia and just found out she is pregnant.
We have also just learned that a family member carries the Hereditary Hemachromotosis gene, for which I am to be tested for also.
She will be getting tested to see if she also carries and/or is by HH-I am beside myself with worry, though it is very early in her pregnancy,
what complications would this combination present?
BTW- she was born 6 weeks early due to placenta abrupta
