Pregnant or not?
Hi, I've been trying for 6 months to fall pregnant. This month I felt that it could be my lucky month. My period is due till the 19th but this afternoon I done a test and it came out negative. I've been having hot flushes for about a week, my nipples and boobs are sore but not that sore, I've been having period cramps since around the time the hot flushes started. What do you guys think? All I want is to start a family. And I'm young to.

Thanks guys. Wen it was negative I started crying.lol my poor bf didn't know what to do. But I hope I am pregnant...two of my friends are pregnant and they started trying two months before me and there due march...so it upsets me seeig there growing belly and I'm just not falling pregnant. Let's hope that my af doesn't show as I'm not looking foward to it. Lol and good luck to both of use.xx
if menstrual doesn't show. which i hope it doesn't and you get you'r Bfp i would test. If still getting negative results at that consult you'r doctor and get a beta done. good luck and happy holidays

Been trying for my second for over a year and am also in my 2WW im 9DPO and have 5 more days to wait until AF if due, so keeping everything crossed that ive done it this time.
The symptoms you have, i had myself too in my august cycle and really thought i was pregnant as they are typical pregnancy symptoms, however AF showed up. Its difficult as PMS and pregnancy symptoms are so similar its hard to tell them apart.
You tested to early so you could of had a false negative. If your period doeesnt show up on the 19th, do a test with FMU on the 20th using a sensitive test. No point testing now as any neg test may not be correct and you will just be confused.
I didnt get a positive test with my first until i was 9 days late, so sometimes it takes a while for it to show up.
On average implantation happens about 8-10 days ovulation, then once implanted the HCG doubles every 48-72hrs. If your due on 19th then you would have roughly ovulated on the 5th Nov, so for example, you ovulate 5th Nov, takes 10 days to implant making it 15th Nov, then you need another 4 days to allow for the HCG to have risen enough to show on a test, so earliest you could test to get an accurate result is 19th Nov. Its only the 17th today, so if you have implanted then your HCG levels would still be low.
Thats only an example and everyone woman varies, but its just an example to show how and why you may still be getting a Neg test
