Pregnant with kidney stone

My wife has a kidney stone for two years now and just found she is pregnant. The kidney stone pain comes around once in a long while but the pain last about 1 day on and off. How much will it affect her and the pregnancy?

was your pain off and on.  my grandaughter is 4 mo. pg.  she started have a very sharp pain in her lower left side that spread around to her back.  it hurts the worst when she is sitting or standing and laying on the left side.  she called her doctor.  was told the baby could be laying in position putting pressure on a nerve or that her body was stretching causing the pain. was wondering if you had similiar pain.

I had kidney stones during my pregnancy .. it sucked!!! tell her to drink lots of cranberry juice to help try and keep her kidneys as healthy as possible.. they wont do anything to dissolve the kidney stone while she is pregnant.. so shes gonna have to stick it out.. she can take tylenol for the pain..
