I was on prometrium (orally) as well. And you know, my OB never ever gave me my levels. Always just told me everything looked good. I don't think it matters if the levels are in normal range due to the supplements or not. Point is, they are high enough and that either means your body is doing it's job, or the supplements are working. Either way, I would think it means good news. Hang in there hon, and remember...every day is a victory!!!
I'm glad all is well and hope your u/s is perfect!!
I did not start progesterone till 6 weeks. but i had a miscarriage 3 yrs ago that they now say could have be progesterone issue or blood pressure issue, My new dr that i see now told me that everything looks great so far, and i will be having an ultrasound on Wens.
Thanks for that. Based on that chart, I am just about where I should be right now. So, now it's making me wonder if I had low progesterone in my previous losses. Last time I did take it, but I didn't start it until like 5 weeks. And the loss before that, I wasn't on it at all. Hmmmmmmm. Now I just hope it goes up.
My first progesterone level around 4weeks was 13.44 and my obgyn said that was good, than last week my progesterone level went down to 9.2 and she said that level is on the fence and put me on progesterone suppositories last week. (100mg once a day) She hopes that my number goes up before my next blood work, first ultrasound is 05/05/10
i wouldnt worry too much, especially if your levels go up next time. if they stay the same or are lower, i would see about increasing the dose to 400mg. this is a good graph to show you what is normal for each week

I was 4 weeks 6 days yesterday when it was checked. I am on oral supplements 100mg twice daily. I wish they would give me suppositories. I would feel better. But they said oral is good. Grrrr
