BUT sometimes you can have protein in your urine and not necessarily be preeclampsia. Only the test will tell! good luck!

I had it at 35 weeks. I had to have a c-section at 36 weeks due to preeclampsia. I was very sick and the baby was being affected. The blood draw will check your liver function, which is also affected by preeclampsia. Based on your 24 hr urine and your liver function, your doctor will determine the next steps. Good luck. By the way, I also had very significant swelling and pitting edema, especially in my feet.

hi sorry your going thru this, i had the same happen to me when i was arounhd 20-25 wk. it is a red flag for pre-eclampsia. pre-eclampsia is basically these symptoms.........

1.protien
2.reflexes of knee.....
3.headachce/dizziness
4..... most importantly (high blood pressure)
5. severe swelling.

i had 1,3,5, and they still induced me at 38wk. i didnt have high blood pressure.--- which is the main thing they look for. just a heads-up ( i had 40lb of water/swelling) so i gained like 65lb. i balooned up.................... how is everything going for you now???
