Provera

I have been prescribed Provera for 10 days.  Tomorrow will be day 8, and still no period.  My question is, how is this supposed to work?  I would like to try to get pregnant this month, but want to make sure Provera is no longer in my system.  how long does it take to leave?

i have been on provera for lil over 2 years & i have a prescription for 15 days & after my 15th day it usually takes about 2 to 4 days before i start..i usually start between the 19th & 23rd...then last anywhere from the normal 7 days to only 3 days...so it just depends on your body & how long you have been taking it..

as for the pregnant part if your taking the provera i dont know how that works

i hope it helped..

im in the same situation.. I took it for 10 days 10mg a day and still no cycle and it's been almost a month and i have taken preg. test and they say negative. But im also on metformin. So i don't understand why I haven't started yet im so scared that something is wrong. I have a doctors appointment but it's not until the end of April. I was also wondering has anyone else heard of taking soy. And if so if you do not have a cycle how do you know when to start taking them. I haven't had a cycle for a little over a year. Any answers would help. Thanks so much.

Provera is supposed to help start AF.  You aren't supposed to start until after you stop taking the provera.  you should start within 10 days from your last pill.  I had to take it for several months due to PCOS.  Provera should also not effect TTC at all, as it's used constantly in the fertility world.
