That's funny you mention the "push present".
I had never heard of it when I gave birth to my first son.
I know a lady that works in a jewelry store, and she asked if my DF was getting me a push present. I was like what the heck is that? So she told me.
I went home and mentioned it to DF. He laughed and he said is there really such a thing as a push present? I said I don't know. I've never heard of it.
It must have stuck in his head though, because I got a push present about 2 weeks ago. It was an early one.
I got a necklace with black and white diamonds!
After I had my daughter and got out of recovery he went and got me anything I wanted to eat....does that count? Haha
I agree, I would be over the moon if it was a present from the heart, I don't know if it was a push present, but he got me a mother necklace after I had him, but it wasn't immediately after, so I don't think it counts, haha!
He took me to get a haircut and color a week post partum. I'm sure he'd do just about anything, but I don't ask. He just doesn't like to buy baby things at 20w bc we "have months until he's here." It drives me crazy!
I got sweet f all except a pat on the back (I'm exaggerating but he's pissed me off tonight!)...I'm still not too impressed 6wks on...
Lol well who knows they could surprise yall...just putting it out there now they know about push presents
I'm with rainbowbaby mine said no! Lol he said my gift is my son lol
My husband is the same way...just a few times have I got presents from the heart lol
I think he would get mad if I asked him cause since I'm in charge of the money he gives me his whole pay check lol but still I want something that comes from his heart lol I doubt it'll happen tho.
Yes! With my first son my husband gave me Jewlery and with this pregnancy I think taking me shopping once I loose the baby weight!
Lol I heard about it on Oprah...but a lot of my friends have gotten them and they usually get jewlery
I never knew about this but will definately look into it as soon as my husband gets home from work.
I'm a stay at home mom as well but I never really get anything for myself except my birthday and our anniversary and DH gets mad when I always just buy for them so when he gets a chance to buy me something and I can't complain about it he does lol
I'm a stay at home mommy like ktowne I really don't expect it he does enough by working hard a paying for everything.
Cute idea, just asked my hubby and he said no. LOL! No biggie. But I hope you get something good!
I didn't, but I never really expected one either, I guess, he works his butt off just to make sure I got everything I wanted with my son, and I'm sure he will with our little girl, too. I'm very fortunate to be able to be a stay at home mom, and he works long hours for me to do that, so that's enough for me! :) Cute idea though!
Its a present that you get from your other half...pretty much saying they appreciate what you just did by giving birth to their child
My push present was instant pain relief, lol.
