I was induced wit my first and it was faster than not being induced wit my second one. Wit my first my water broke at 4cm and 30mins later I had my daughter and wit my second it took me forever.

I ended up going into labor hours before I was supposed to be induced. I'm soooo happy it happened that way! Some women have no problem being induced and others aren't so lucky. Definitely research it though to see if its right for you and your baby. Avoid it if you can though! :)

Not sure what having a sweep is but inductions make it harder on your baby in most cases unless it's medically necessary. Pitosin is not good for you or your baby either(in most cases). Sometimes it's needed, but if you can avoid an induction, that's better. & statistics do show that a large number of women that are induced end up in an extremely hard labor or a c-section. Simply bc your body isn't ready or your baby isnt. Watch the video "the business of being born". It will give you some insight & facts on induction of labor, vaginal birth, c-section. I was blown away by how much i didn't know!  This is my second child & i will be doing things very different. Knowledge is power.

I had a sweep and had no problem :) but inductions make your labor longer and you'll have a higher chance of a csection.
