Question about progesterone.. please help.

I had my blood drawn on 6/16 (12dpo) and my levels were   HCG: 72  Progesterone: 31.  I had my levels taken again today 6/19 (15dpo) and my levels were   HCG: 236   Progesterone: 20.  My HCG tripled but my progesterone dropped. Why such a drop? My doctor didn't seem too concerned and said my HCG levels looked great. She wants to check my progesterone again on monday (4 days away.) and then go from there. Is it too dangerous to wait? Also, the first test for progesterone was taken in the afternoon and the second was early morning, if that makes a difference.

It shouldnt make a difference on the time of day it was tested.  Your Dr is very good to follow you up on it.  I would be concerned too.  But that is what you deal with when the stupid weekend comes up.  Maybe ask your Dr, to just prescribe you some supplements.  If she cant then just check for spotting, that will first occur.  Worst case scenerio you start spotting:  Call your Doc right away and see if they can can prescribe you the supplements then.
Good luck, let us know what happens!

I wish I could help more but all I really know is the numbers shouldn't go down.  But maybe that is why she is checking them again and then you will go from there.  I don't really know how soon it needs to start being taken, but I would definity express your concerns when you get the results whether they are better or worse.
