I will get a tattoo of two baby feet prints off set of eachother on my back, in black and white. This is for our little one we miscarried last May.
i have three tats. i have a flower on my lower back, two butterflys on my right ankle (one is pink which is me and the other is blue which is my husband) and i have my husbands name is japanese accross my shoulder blades. when our baby is born i am going to add a baby butterfly to my ankle with babys name and date of birth.
my husband wants to have the babys name written accross his heart which i hink is going to look fantastic.
my dad has his two grandchildrens names written accross his back and this baby's will go under it.
and finally my mum has a phoenix bird on her left foot (my neice is names phoenix) and riley written on the other foot for my nephew. one bubby is born she is going to get either babys name accross her back or a symbol of the babys name.
lol my whole family loves tatts. we have our own guy that does them all and i got my first at 16 even though thats illigal (spelling?) in australia
i only have one and i'm country, so it's a little easy to guess what it is, but i had told chris after i have the baby, it'd be altered, so as of now, i have a "waving" confederate flag, and to symbolize chris' heritage, i'm having it "bled" into a union flag, and finally have them both "bleed" into an American flag, where i'll have the baby's name in script.....i got it after divorcing a yankee(lol, don't ask), and chris is from northern KY, and hates it! so i told him looong ago that after we got married i'd get the above tattoo, but since we've decided we don't really feel the need to get married(we'veboth had *2* unsuccessful marriages), that we're not going to jinx ourselves lol--so now that i'm having the baby, i figured i'd make the 2 flags(2 heritages), blend into *One*, which would symbolize our child.....and then i had thought about putting his son and daughters name as well, because if *something* happened, i wouldnt regret putting his CHILDRENS names on me lol.....but i'm not sure how others feel about putting stepchildren on your skin? does it matter? or is it considered bad taste? ya i have a confederate flag what could be worse is i'm sure what others may think, but hey i'm split in half between florida and texas, so it's my heritage lol......
my BIL took his kids newborn footprints into the tattoo shop! He got each one put on the back of each calf with their name and date of birth!! They are now going to be having their 3rd child next month, and he plans on getting that one done also, but on his shoulder.
I have 8tats... The one with my kids name is on my right leg just above my ankle. I have a rose with the "ribbon" flowing below it with my daughter and my son's first name whenI have this baby I will be going to get his name put with them. My tattooist left enough room for 5 names total. I only plan on 4 but just in case!!! I love tattoos they are a way of expressing life to others. Good Luck on your's....
I have a pic of it on my myspace page. myspace .com /heather viveros4 (remember not to put the spaces......)
I know a lady that has a rose and vine tat with her girls names on the leaves...it is like those ones that a lot of girls were getting on their lower back. I don't have a tattoo but I would consider one...I am just so indecisive and if it is something that is staying with me forever I better be decisive!
I have a total of 7 tats, 2 ehich are my childrens names. I still need to get my youngest sons name and this baby's name once it is born. My childrens names are on the top and bottom of my wrists, i can get pics if you like.
aww.. So far I have a butterfly on my wrist with Freedom under it (symbolizing getting out of the h*ll hole of my mom's house) and a fairy on my hip. The name and heart will have to be SIMPLE because tattoo's on me don't show well. The butterfly took 3X of getting it to show up decently. I heal so fast I push the ink out some, but I don't mind getting it done over and over. :)
I'm thinking on my shoulder, or maybe my other wrist? And if it's not a heart I want a stylized dove or something.
Any suggestions. (BTW personally I'd never go for one on the arm or legs because I hate how they look, that's why it'd be around the bikini line(lower stomach) or on a wrist or shoulder or back or somethign.)
I have a tattoo on my back that says "dying to live" which I have had since I was 16. Once my body is back to pre-pregnancy size I am going to get two sparrows on falling next to dying and one soaring next to live and in the falling ones mouth is going to be the date of my miscarriage on a piece of parchment and in the soaring ones mouth is going to be Aspen's name and birthday. In a way this last year has made something more of just a stupid tattoo... it now has more meaning because if I hadn't lost the first one I would of never had Aspen.
i don't have one yet... but i'm glad i've waited b/c we are about to have our 4th and now after this birth i can get one to symbolize all of them together. dh has all 3 of our girls' names on his arms and will get our son's name also (when we finally decide what it is!). i've seen a couple different things that i've liked, but i like to be original! dh draws really well so i might just pick one i've already found and maybe get him to alter it alittle to make it different... but i will definately being getting one! oh yea, i already have 2 tatoos also... one on my lower back and one under my bikini line in the front. that's also another reason i've waited to get one... b/c i can't decide where to put it! :)
I've seen it lots but it's not something I'm planning on doing. I have two tatoos - but don't think I'm going to get one with the baby's name. But - that's only me!
