i'd recommend taking at least 3 outfits for baby. They make a lot of mess! If you get a sicky baby then u might need to do a few changes. Don't panic! U will need to think how you are going to feed the baby, if not breast feeding do u need to provide your own formula? you do in the UK. U will need diapers and wipes. Hat for the baby. Change of clothes for you and something comfy to wear. Maternity sanitary towels (dont panic if you dont have them, im sure the hospital can provide some). You will need something for you to do in labour! If you're being induced it might take a while so dont panic if you dont have everything! Im sure if you forget anything someone can bring it in to you :)
Good luck!
For your self pack a robe slippers socks old panties comfy sweats easy access tank for breastfeeding.if that's what you plan to do. Chap stick ponytail holder pillow something comfy for the ride home remember you will be about the size you were at 6 months.. don't forget the camera. Baby book.
For baby. Bring a few outfits onesies I brought my own receiving blankets nuk if you plan on using one remember just because its packed doesn't mean you need to use it while you are there. Good luck!!! And personally I wouldn't worry about the laundry just try to relax get as much rest as you can today you will want to be well rested for labor. Good luck and early congrats.
Outfit for the baby, something for you to do, phone charger, a pillow from home if you want, carseat, some cash for vending machines, slippers, most of the stuff will be provided by the hospital. Good luck and keep us updated!
What do I need to pack in the hospital bag? And my baby girl is healthy and happy, there's just something wrong with the placenta and she's not getting all that she needs, the doctors think she'll be better off out, nutrition wise.
Just breath take a step back everything will fall in place have bf/hubby help you it wont take that long at all
Do you have anyone that can come to your house and help? Start washing clothes if you didn't already? And have someone set up the room while you back the baby bag and yours? How come your being induced at 37 weeks? Just curious! Good luck with the packing, and try to stay calm, babies won't notice if everything is not set up, just get what you need done for the baby immediately and the rest can wait if you don't have time :)
