Really Sore Breasts!

Hi all,

I have been ttc for over a year now, i have had 2 false positives before and now that i am experiencing pregnancy symptoms I am afraid to test and build up my hopes, and end up getting another false positive... I currently have sore breasts they have been hurting for about 2 weeks now... at first i thought it was my aunt flow since it was about time.. (my last AF was may 17th) but as of now its nonexistent, I feel like i should just wait and see what happens but I also think i should test in case its a BFP i can start on prenatal care... Dont know what to do... any suggestions? is there any other reason why my breasts would be sore for so long?

Thank you!!

Well I'm not sure about the whole TTC thing because my pregnancy was a complete surprise however I had really sore breasts for about a week and a half before my expected period (first week was really sore and then it started to ease up) and sure enough AF never came! So I'm wishing you luck!!!

I am not sure how long my luteal phase is... my periods are really irregular but for the past couple of months have seemed to be normal... (gotten it when supposed to) and i have never had sore breasts before... the last time i remember them hurting was during puberty... so i just really dont know whats going on... i guess ill just wait and see how long it takes my period to come if it does... i hope it doesnt though! thx for all the advice

It depends how long your luteal phase is. Mine is about 12 days so after I ovulate I will get really sore breasts until I get my period. Is sore breasts common for you b4 your period?  If this continues for 18 days, you may be pregnant and would test again then.

Well to me its the opposite i took 2 hpt the first time and had all the symptoms and then the blood test came out negative... and same thing happened the second time with the exception that i took 4 hpt before i even went to my doctor, i even bought the digital ones and they clearly said pregnant... so then i finally decided to go and got a scan... and again nothing... so this time i am not sure as to test or not... or just give it a little more time...

I know how hard it is to be letdown from a positive that turns into a period anyway as ,well as a negative but given your symptoms I think you should do a pregnancy test this time.  good luck hope you get your bfp
