Did you ever call L&D?

If it was slimy like cm and yellow it's probably just discharge...BUT it if was more liquidy like urine but tinted darkish yellow or a darker color it could meconium stained amniotic fluid like someone else mentioned.   If you are unsure I would suggest at the very least calling your doc or going to  L & D.  IF it WAS your bag of waters breaking you don't want to wait...becuase the risk of infection greatly increases.  It would be better to go in and have them check and make sure it wasn't your amniotic fluid and be sent home than to wait and risk complications.

It could also be your mucous plug....when mine came out, I was about 38 weeks and I thought it was my water breaking, it was a lot. They say that is when you are geting close to delivery. I delivered 5 days later. However, I got induced with my son, and when my water broke, it was yellowish... not miconium though. it can be like a straw color. But I would still get it checked out. Good luck to you hun!

I am 38.6 weeks pregnant and I have been having the same discharge that you are mentioning, except I have not had it in a huge gush. I agree with the rest of the women and call your doctor or go to L&D. You are considered full term so you very well may be in labor. Best of Luck and keeep us posted.

I would seriously call your doc or go to L&D. Your water may have broke and the yellowish tint could be meconium which is babies first bowel movement, if baby inhales it in his lungs it can cause a lot of health issues.
