They are doing testing and such. That is why they are being recalled. A lot of the recalls we hear about are voluntary recalls, companies erring on the side of caution.
Generics are just as likely as brand names to be recalled. All companies have to adhere to the same manufacturing standards. Sticking to Equate brand does not guarantee safety any more than other brands.
Side note- If I live near the border, surrounded by transient and immigrant populations who may not have access to flu shots, it would make me *more* likely to get my shot to protect myself and my baby. Unless you plan on avoiding most public places in the coming months... Just a thought...
Every major company has had recalls.... Well pratically.... They will fix the problem and it will prob be fine..... Most recalls happen because neglectful parents who dont supervise their children and they are hurt or killed by a product.....
It doesn't matter to me. Recalls happen, and will happen no matter if it's for an adult or child, and is something we have to accept. This year alone we've had massive recalls in dozens of things almost back to back. It doesn't mean they're not doing their job. We don't know what went wrong. An error on the production line, faulty machines, anything. It's your choice what you're going to continue to buy in the end.
and now days company's do not care who they have Workin for them or who runs test on it. as long as it gets on shelves and people buy it that's all they care about.
yeah i understand. but i live in Yuma and it is so close to the border and products and medical stuff is coming from there i rather take super vitamins. just to be sure.
Screw that, humans make mistakes yes, but this much.. and youd think they hire more professionals when it comes to take care of babies and children. I cant agree with that comment, sorry no disrespect though. and Amanda, i got my h1n1 shot last year when i was pregnant. didnt hurt me or my baby. i was terrified at first, but i worked at a restaurant/ bar and delt with germs all the time, i couldnt risk it.
and not necessary is every package bad. If one person calls in reporting it smelt like Mildue or whatever there going to pull it all off shelves to investigate and protect themselves from a law suit
just like h1n1 all last year. they didn't want infants or pregnant women getting shot. due to not knowing side effects. now this year they mixed it in with regular flu shot so i refuse to get mine. esp with unborn child growing and not knowing side effects. just Imagen how much bad stuff we consumed threw out our years.
Mistakes happen. It ***** yes, but the people doing it all are human so it won't all be perfect each time.
Oh yeah, Never thought about that... LOL...
But I thought things were tested for a reason??

Things will always get recalled. If we stopped buying them all, there wouldn't be anything on the shelves.
I dont know about the Tylenol. I just remember hearing that childrens Tylenol was recalled and to only buy the equate kind for fever reducer.. and the teething tablets are like all Hylands teething tablets
is it that one item. or several. when tyenol was recalled it was certain types. and upc codes. is this the same
I wouldnt personally if something has been recalled I wouldnt buy ANYTHING from that compan ever again. Even if its food or clothing NOPE! If one thing is Unsafe who is to say other things are?

Something Called Belladonna. its bad in large doses and the caps arnt Child proof so kids are over dosing on them. there supposed to be back on the shelves in 2011, but am i really supposed to buy them again?
Why are they being recalled??? I would sue them and bring all this up legally, cause it aint right, they should test stuff before it goes out on the shelves.
