Ribs are hurting

Hey girls! I havent seen anything on here about ribs hurting...really weird my ribs feel sore, they actually hurt to the touch. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Thank you!

If you're having pain in your back/sides like just below your armpits and a little more towards your back that could be stretching ligaments. I got a support belt for pregnancy and it helped a lot! Also helped with that stretching feeling at the top of my stomach, too...

Have you had your Gallbladder checked? If not, do so ASAP.  If it ruptures, your in big trouble. Don't wait!

I was recently admitted to the hopspital for lower abdomen pain. When i was in the E.R. they took blood and said it was pancriatitis. Once i saw my specialist, after reviewing my ctscans(with contrast), ultrasounds and blood work he said i had an inflamed pancrias but he was almost positive that it wasnt that. He told me the pain was from a cyst that had ruptured in my stomach. This was almost a month ago and now recently i have been experiencing pain in my rib cage. Its a whole other area of pain but im afraid it could be linked. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Im 20yr. old and pretty much all around healthy. It only hurts when i breathe in and its a sore feeling like someone punched me! Is there something i should take? If anyone has an idea of what it could be please let me know! Thanks!

im glad im not alone with the rib pain. im 31 weeks prego. my ribs feel really bruised. the upper ribs on my left side hurt the most. the baby has not kicked my ribs at all, so im assuming that its from stretching. sooo not fun!! lol

I have such a horrible pain under my right rib that I cant sleep at a night, I was just going to ask a similar question about this pain also.

I hurt SOOO bad in my ribs when I was pregnant with my daughter.  I attributed it to the stretching.  I had a friend who stretched SOOO much that she actually popped a rib out.  The doctor had to pop it back into place.  WILD HUH?

wow thats pretty crazy...im only 14 weeks no kicks yet so i dont think thats the case. its both sides also. thanks!

I worked with a lady years ago who said that her baby kicked her in the ribs so hard that she cracked a rib!  She was prego and she looked like she was in a lot of pain from the rib, so I believe her...I know it sounds crazy!
