Im pretty sure i have a throat and or ear infection. Im completely against anti biotics there for am avoiding the doctor on this one lol. My question is, could me having an infection harm baby or am i ok to just relax and let my body fight it off?

If I had a choice to take my meds or not I would choose not too lol. I didn't take my seizure meds and Im fine now. Outgrew them. Asthma meds are one thing that I actually have to take. That and strep gets worse for me if I don't take something. But, anytime else I'm just fine with suffering lol.

Ive never taken antibiotics. Im completely against them in general. I beleive the more we use them the less our body can fight off things on its own. But for baby girls sake we will make an exception

I'm taking antibiotics now for strep throat. Your doctor knows what you can and can't take. And I'm asthmatic, so I'm also on those medications. All of which are safe. Hope you feel better soon!

well it can infect the amniotic fluid as well, and you don't want your baby getting sick.. you don't want to go into labor feeling like crap either, good luck i hope you feel better!!

You def have to go to the doctor. we talked about this today at my birthing class and like ktowne said, any type of infection can make u go into early labor.

Agreed^^ if you have an infection you should go to the doc, they won't prescribe something that will harm your baby and not getting it taking care of can make it worse which will harm your baby more then medicine

any infection has the potential to put you into preterm labor, if you get over infections quickly you could wait it out but being pregnant with a weakened immune system it may take longer and get worse.
