Safe Period query

Hi,
I have been married for a couple of months now. Could you please tell me when is the Safe period? when i consulted a gynecologist,
she put me on contraceptives and it made me put on a lot of weight. so i stopped it and she told me that the safe period was 7 days
before and after from  the last day of my period . which does not seem to have worked out. could you please kindly clarify/ advice as to
whether this can be followed or not again. And if i get pregnant and don't want to conceive then what is the easiest home remedy to
terminate the pregnancy. Kindly advice at the earliest.
Thanks,
Lily.

There is no real "safe" period from pregnancy. It's rare but some women even get pregnant from sex during their period...I got pregnant about a week before my period was due, though I assume I may have been late that month, and he withdrew as well. You just never know, so if you really don't want to be pregnant use another form of birth control.

* and existing pregnancy. You could seriously hurt yourself or worse. The "withdrawal" method IS NOT a reliable form of birth control. Your husnabd needs to understand this. Condoms are very effective when used correctly. Try another BC that doesn't cause weight gain. I was on Orthotricyclen Lo and i loved it. I'm now on Beyaz so hopefully this one is just as good. Best of luck to you.

If you want to do natural family planning it takes alot of planning and tracking your cycles and number of days between periods and your cervical mucous. I used this method for 2 years before I decided to have another baby. It took me about 6 months of really paying attention to my body to get all of this right. And there is NOT a home remedy to terminate an exhist

You need to find a new way of birth control and termination of pregnancy is not one of them.
You are usually fertile around 14 days after the first day of your last menstrual cycle BUT and there's a big one....not everyone goes by that. Everyone is different. Women ovulate at different times, depending on their bodies. Not everyone is successful with the rhythm method and women do end up pregnant.
You should either be looking into a different form of birth control, having your husband wear condoms or just put up with the weight. It's easier to deal with a few extra pounds then to deal with pregnancy scares all the time. That is more stressful on your body.

Ummmm... its not safe to terminate pregnancy at home.... EVER!!! if u don't want a baby and are concerned with weight gain they do still make condoms although nothing is 100% u take the risk of getting pregnant everytime u have sex
