My fiancee' and I want to have a baby of our own really soon. I would like to know the risks of being pregnant at my age. I am a mother of three (3) boys already and I'm 32 years-old. None of my sons biologically are my fiancees' children but he took on the role of being there for them. But there's something that's missing for the both of us and that's to have a child of our own to show our love for one another. So my question is, what are the risks and advantages of getting and being pregnant ate my age?
Your risk for things like down syndrome don't really go up til you are 35 so the risks are minimal. Benefits would be patients to handle ababy better than when you were younger maybe?
By the way I am very familiar with things like statistics on genetic problems. My first child tj was born with down syndrome when hubby and I were 21 and when we found out about him I did tons of reading
there is a risk the older u get but as a word of comfort my mum has had 3 kids since being 30 including one at 41/42/43(im not enitirely sure of her age!lol!i just know shes over 40) and all three are perfectly healthy!every woman is different but i thought my mums story might help give u hope and also there is a lot more help out there for women concieving at ur age and later!u are still on the young side tho so il croos my fingers that ur baby will be fine if u decide to go 4 it
