I was 17 When my first was born and 19 when my second with my second and I to still lived at home. I waited to tell my mom until after I had my first ultrasound and told her by leaving the ultrasound pic on the kitchen table with my positive pregnancy test. I thought she was gonna be furious but she was excited! Its easier for them to accept it the second time.

Well I was 17 when I got pregnant with our first and she was upset but we got married and raised our baby and when she was almost 2 we got pregnant again and I told my mom but told her I didn't want to hear any negativity we were happy and if she couldn't be happy for us then not to say anything.  Turns out she was thrilled for us.

I to was scared to tell my grandparents a.k.a. mom and dad. But once I told them they were kinda upset but.t then they warmed up to it. But my dh and I live alone and already had 3 other children. I would say she will be upset at first but she will have to accept it.  The longer you wait the more upset she is going to be. Do you financially support yourself and your child now? She's also going to ask what is the fathers role in this...I do not mean theses questions in a negative way but they are questions she's is going to ask. Best of luck to
you.

I was the same way with my family and im 24so married and moved out at 19. And to my sunrise they took it very well. Just go.for it. I know its easier said then done but I was told the same thing and didn't believe them but once I did it I can now relax

Well, I think it depends on if this pregnancy was planned, and how well she took your first one... I'm 18 and 35 weeks pregnant. I haven't lives with any of my parents since I was 17, but I was still terrified to tell them even tho in my case its not like they could "punish" me in any way.. if you're close with her, I would sit down with her and be honest.. she'll be more hurt the longer you wait.
