Sex and dilation
Hi! I'm 37wks. 2cm dilated. I want to get this show on the road; but just wondering if sex after dilation is safe? And if so does anyone feel that it's more uncomfortable at this point?
Unless your doc has told you not to, yes. AND, it has the potential to dilate you more. I was, by the way, 1 cm dilated for a month. A cervix can open very slowly. But sex is often recommended to women at the end of pregnancy to get things finished (as in labor moving faster). good luck
