Sharp vaginal pains

I have been getting these very sharp painful stabs in my V-gingo lately.
I dont know how to describe them just very painful and it mostly happens when im having BHs.
Can you tell me what they are?

Yes like that. I looked it up on the web last night after having all night of dull icky peroid pains and they said its either just the cervix getting ready to dialate or the baby pushing really hard down on my cervix.

I think its time to pack my bag now thought. lol

Does it kinda feel like a shooting pain going up the vaginal..canal I guess you would call it. If so, I remember having those when I was pregnant, but was never really told much about them. It seems to be from pressure of baby pushing down on everything, as well as the contractions.
