Shorter Femur
I am 26weeks and my baby's femur bone is below the 5th percental in ultrasound.  No abnormalities in blood work or fetal screenings what does this mean? I am 5'0 and the father has drawfism in his geneology. Is there anything to correct it after baby is born?

if it's dwarfism, then there is no way to correct it since it is genetic. However, a short femur doen't necessarily mean dwarfism. my friend was told she was having a dwarf based on ultrasound measurements and the baby turned out to be normal. you can request more testing- i think an amnio may give more info
