Should I be concerned?

Ok, so I don't know if this really means anything, but I really am a little worried.  I have pretty normal periods.  My cycle is usually 26 to 31 days long with my actual period lasting between 4-6 days.  And they are heavy.  I also have alot of clots and cramping.  I have been monitoring my periods for a year now because I hate having them surprise me.  Anyway, my last normal period was on Feb. 18, 2010.  There was absolutely nothing strange about it.  My husband and I had sex on the 3, and I only remember this because I happened to notice it was right next to my ovulation, which was supposedly on the 4 of March (I don't really track that, the calendar I use does it automatically).  Anyway, back on track.  I expected my period to come on the 18 of March.  Well, about 2- 2.5 weeks ago, I started to feel really tired and sick and my breast were really sore.  I thought it was just period symptoms, although they don't usually start that early.  Then on the 12 I started bleeding.  This was alot earlier then my normal periods and was really light.  I don't know how else to describe it, but it was not anything like my normal period.  I took a pregnancy test, 3 of them actually, but they were all neg.  Should I wait a little bit and take another or just wait to see if my next period comes?  Has this ever happened to anyone else?

So, a little more info.  My actual period was suppossed to start between the 16 and the 21 of March.  It is now the 28 and nothing.  I have taken several pregnancy tests and they all come back negative.  So I have decided to assume that was my period on the 12 and wait until when my next period should arrive.  If it shows up then I will know I am not pregant, and if it doesn't I will  take another test.  If no period and no positive, then I will see my doctor.  I was just wondering if this plan made sense to anyone else.

i would wait until you have missed AF and then test, a lot of women myself included bleed lightly up to a week before AF arrives and some women believe this could be implantation bleeding.  A lot of pre-pregnancy symptoms are to alike AF symptoms which is why you are better not looking for symptoms other than missed AF.  I wish you loads of luck
