So frustrated - can anyone help?

So, I feel like I'm finally starting to figure out my cycle post bc pills.  My cycles are around 37 days long, and I seem to ovulate (or so I think around day 22 or so)  So, this past week was my fertile week and I had the textbook ewcm all week, which I feel is a pretty good indication I was fertile.  So, todaly I go to the bathroom, and I had the largest amount of ewcm ever!  Which means basically I'm going on 7 days of having this, which isn't normal I've heard, and not only that, but it means that I have a luteal phase defect.

Has anyone else experienced this?  I'm just so frustrated!  I feel like everything is in working order, and them something happens.

Your luteal phase (according to many websites I've looked at) say it should be from anywhere from 10-14 days.  If I truly just ovulated now, and if I get my AF around the 17th, that means mine is really short.  They (they being the experts) say that a short luteal phase is a big reason for miscarriages.

Oh it's not normal? How long are you suppost to have CM for? I know I get alot of it sometimes but I guess  haven't paid much attention to how long I'm having it for. How long should your luteal phase be?
