Something I've posted before...

And it's STILL bothering me! I can be lying in the bed and feeling fine but as soon as I get comfortable, my tailbone is HURTING. I asked my doctor about it Monday and he didn't seem too concerned about it and the nurse said that she hears those complaints all the time and it's pretty much normal. So I let it go and said it's a pregnancy thing...

Well, I don't know how much more I'm gonna be able to take from this tailbone hurting. I literally need help getting out of bed, turning over, or moving. I squeal having to move my legs because it hurts so much. That's the only thing that hurts. I'll be 12 weeks Sunday. I've never experienced this before until I got pregnant. It's been going on for a couple of weeks. I don't know what to do. Should I talk to my doctor again about it? I have an ultrasound Monday but won't see my doctor until the 22nd. Did anyone else go through this? How did you handle the pain?

PLEASEEEE, if you have ANY advice on how to ease the pain, I'd really appreciate it. I'm desperate lol!
btw, it's only when I'm lying down or sitting in the tub that it starts hurting.

This is my third, and with each of my pregnancies I got horrible tailbone pain. This time, it started earlier and has been the most painful by far. I also have pelvic pain and could barely move or get out of bed. Part of my pain was due to BV (bacterial vaginosis) and my growing belly. Last night I went to the chiropractor, and wow! Today, I feel so much better. I am hardly in pain, I'm in a better mood and can't believe how much it helped. I hope it continues to help. Have you thought about going to a chiropractor?
My midwife wants me to go until I give birth so my pelvis stays aligned and doesn't cause issues during delivery. My hips are very uneven and that's part of my problem. The chiro I went to see actually spent time with me, looked over my body and really focused on areas that bother me. She also said taking a bath in Epsom salt can really help alleviate the pain and heal you. I haven't tried it yet, but plan on it soon!
Oh! She also said that sitting in a recliner, on a hard surface, or on the floor is a big no no and when sitting for long periods of time try either laying on your left side with a pillow in between your legs, or sit forward with your pelvis open, and sitting on an exercise ball can help with the pain. Doing stretches on your hands and knees like cats pose and rocking side to side can help.  I really hope you can get some relief soon!

Unfortunately... it is a normal and common ailment for pregnant women. For me it was near my tailbone but more my lower back and hip. With my secondborn I could barely move. I couldn't even lift my feet to put on an ottoman because it hurt so badly to lift my legs. Getting out of bed was a nightmare (especially if I ended up on my back). I FEEL for you; it is not fun. Keep doing stretches and exercises to alleviate pressure on the tailbone (should be able to google some) and take it easy.

Hello,
I had the same thing with my last pregnancy from about the 6th month mark. |I couldn't find any sort of relief! I couldnt sit, stand, lay down or anything without being in excruciating pain.
I have just started to feel the same effects with this pregnancy.

Good news is, it goes away when you have the baby, or atleast mine did.
Best of luck, hang in there
