No one can seem to tell me why I might be spotting throughout my luteal phase. This happens almost, but not every, month. As an example, in April I ovulated on CD14. I then spotted CD 16, 17, 18, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28. http://***********************/ttc/index.php?d=2011-04-07
I know spotting can be caused by low progesterone, but that's usually just before your period starts. This starts not long after I ovulate. I did have a CD21 test done to confirm ovulation. My doctor said my progesterone levels did confirm ovulation, but didn't say if they were high or low.
My husband and I have been trying for about 8 months now. Does this spotting mean that my uterus is not able to sustain a pregnancy? Thanks!
