Strange electric feeling

Since I was about 27 weeks pregnant, I began experiencing a swollen right leg.  No pain at the time just constant swelling. Docs continued to say it was normal and would go away.  No DVP they did a doppler.  After I had the baby the swelling was replaced by a tightening, strechting kind of feeling that is accompanied by feelings of electricity in the leg and body. I am terrified this will never go away since I am now 6 weeks post partum and still have the issue.  Has anyone experienced this or can tell me what it is?

I was checkd for a blood clot and there was none.  Now I have had the suggestion that I might be potassium deficient.  Who knows?

I personally never had that happen.  All I can say is you may have a pinched nerve which could cause the electricity feeling as well as the stretching feeling.  Have you seen your primary care doctor about this at all or just you OB?  I would say if your OB is not taking care of it, which at this point he may not since your no longer pregnant, you should call your family doctor.  Request to have some testing done like some x-rays or some nerve studies.  Good luck and I hope you get your answer soon.
