What is the best lotion/oil to prevent stretch marks??

I'm a first time mother, only 8 weeks along. I have very fair, sensitive skin. I already have small stretch marks on my inner thighs due to rapid weight gain/loss a few years ago. Just wondering if one lotion/oil works better than another, or if anything is better than nothing.

I didn't get stretch marks till the end and I used everything during my pregnancy palmers stretch lotion  coco butter cream n regular lotion I think u can't prevent it just depends on bad big your belly gets and my belly got huge but the lotions did help lighten them

oh, mine came from gaining/losing weight too.. I was back & forth between 90-110lbs. due to a colon disease so.. yeah, I plan on doing what I can to prevent them too. good luck! ((:

some say it's genetic, others think not.. I have stretch marks on my inner thighs.. my fiancé never noticed until I pointed it out lol BUT, my mama doesn't have them.. so I don't think it's genetic. I've heard watching your weight, a little exercise, and exfoliating helps too.. oh, and I found something else I planned on ordering.. it's going to look funny b/c sometimes they block out the names of stuff, but the website is:

You can you lotions and stuff to lighten them

You can't prevent them for happening, it part of being pregnant  some women get them so don't, it's your skin stretching and it's genetic
