Stupid Fingering Situation

I know this is probably a stupid question and may have been asked many times, but I'm just sort of freaking out. About 9 weeks ago my boyfriend fingered me and I'm not sure if he had pre-ejaculate on his hands from possibly adjusting himself or whatever. We didn't have sex or anything. I know that he didn't ejaculate before and he had used the bathroom, which I hear kills sperm or something. Because I'm a freakout, I took Plan B and I've had three periods, and have taken like four pregnancy tests, which were all negative. But, i'm still kind of scared, because I've got like a metallic, shocking like feeling in my throat, which I read can be a symptom of pregnancy. I haven't been having any other symptoms. So, what I'm wondering is is it really common to get pregnant in this way? Thanks for your help and sorry for the inconvenience.

You're lacking iron in your diet.

just to add I do not think you are pregnant from what you said, but you should go if you are this concerned.

yes if you are anemic you have low iron, that's what it means :). Yes tooth problems can definitely cause a metallic taste...I agree you need to go to your doctor if you are concerned at ALL that you may be pregnant. I do not think that the metallic taste indicates pregnancy, but you really need to go to a doctor to put your mind at ease sweetie, you don't need to torture yourself like this.

I did something like that before. I didn't get pregnant. Don't worry about it hun, you're way over-reacting.

What sort of other changes would I be feeling? Sorry to sound stupid, but I don't know anything about pregnancy.

I probably do have low iron. Is that associated with being anemic? Because if so, that may be the problem. It's just funny how I've always been anemic and I've never felt this sensation before. I also might by dehydrated and I am also having a problem with one of my teeth, which I also read could cause a metallic taste. Thanks for your guys' help.

That is true about the iron thing.  I have low iron and crave ice all the time.

Metallic taste in your mouth could be a symptom of pregnancy - but at this point you would be feeling changes.  You should, however, go see your doctor if you're that concerned.

is the metallic taste accompanied by a desire to chew ice? I'm not kidding....I had that taste along with a desire to chew ice whenever my iron was low through my teenage years, and while yes it was worse when I was pregnant, it can indicate low iron. (how weird is that?).

I've never heard of a metallic taste being a pregnancy symptom....weird.
I'd go to your doctor if you want to ease your mind.

Thanks everyone. I'm mainly just scared about this metallic taste I have in my throat, which is apparently a symptom I guess. And that combined with people having negative pregnancy tests for months and still having periods while they are pregnant just scared me even more.

Actually - if he DID touch himself and there was pre ejaculate on his fingers, it is entirely (though super unlikely) that you could get pregnant.  Seeing that you took the Plan B pill - and you've had 3 periods and you've taken 4 pregnancy tests that were all negative - you are not pregnant.
