actually sun is very beneficial to both you and baby, you need around 20 min of exposure to the sun everyday on your arms and legs, a little more if your dark skinned, your body gets its vitamin D from being exposed to the sun, otherwise you risk having vit D  deficiency which isnt good, and you end up by having to take suppliments, just be sure that you dont go out in the hottest part of the day and if you do put on sunscreen :)

if you over heat it could..you could get sun poisoning or heat stroke.. and ive been told not to take too hot baths because it can over heat baby and cause brain damage.. idk how true that is but its probably the same for the sun but if you wear sun block, stay hydrated &; dont stay too long you should be fine.  your body will tell you if its too much
