I craved sushi my whole pregnancy! I never did eat it though. I tried the cooked california rolls and it just wasn't the same.

I know some people are ok with eating the raw fish while pregnant I just didn't want to chance it.

It's a personal choice.

They're very right. Just remember the bigger the fish, the more mercury it'll contain. So like they said, Samon, also Tuna...

Small amounts are ok though. When I was pregnant with my first son I craved sushi, the raw kind so I'd get a spicy tuna roll a few times a month and my doctor was ok with it.

If it's the prepackaged one more than likely it's imitation crab, if so that's totally fine.

Will the package say contains mercury?

You can eat regular sushi too, just stay away from shell fish and try not to eat too much of the high mercury items like salmon.

Have to say, steamed crap doesn't appeal to me whether or not I'm pregnant.

Yes. As long as it isn't a roll with high mecury fish.
