Swimming

I'll be 24 weeks tomorrow, I'm a first time mom and have bad sciatic nerve pains to the point i can't walk. I've always had issues with my hips as well, i have a swimming pool at my  apartment complex, i was wondering if it would be safe to go swim and relax in it when i have my bad days? I used to swim when my hips would start bugging me before i got pregnant and it really helped.

Definitely go for a swim, I have the same sort of problem! I went for a swim yesterday and felt so good. Swimming is recommended for pregnant ladies, being in the water can also help your baby in the right position for birth too ;)

Swimming is considered safe during pregnancy. I wouldn't go once your cervix starts dilating (in the last few weeks), just because it can cause infection. But until then, swimming is a great way to help with joint pain.
