One possibility is that it is a missed UTI, but it could also be that the cramping is just part of pregnancy and you may also have a tiny cut or scrape that can cause a buring/stinging sensation when you pee. Just something else to keep in mind for a possible cause. If it is a cut/scrape, it should go away on it's own after a while.
I made a comment today that I think the Kidney pain would actually be less if my kidney's just exploded. Just bad bad back pain and then lower cramping in my abdomen.
I hope that your results will give you a better answer of what is going on and you can get it treated soon! :) Let me know what the doctor says.
I wondered about that today when I tested. I had just drank (drunk? Ha!) a bunch of water and wasn't sure how concentrated my urine was. They actually did end up sending it down to the lab because their tests are more sensitive and said I should hear back from them in a couple of days. I used to get UTI's all the time when I was younger. And I definitely know the burning sensation and the cramping (that's actually more the UTI -type cramping than menstrual like cramping). Which is why I was SO certain that's what it was. And like I said - the AZO pills that she gave me to take made me throw up. I'm not sure what kidney pain feels like - just pain on the side?
Anyway, thanks for your response!! Hope you feel well!!
Menstrual cramping in itself can be normal while pregnant, especially as the pregnancy progresses. Baby puts a lot of pressure on the lower part of your body and at the end everything hurts. I've had a few UTI's (I actually have one right now) but I don't get typical signs-- I usually am in the ER for vomiting and Kidney pain. Ask your doctor to rerun the test and see if it shows anything else. Try to hold your urine for as long as possible before you go in so it will show better concentrations as well.
