TMI, but my vagina smells like onions?

I've noticed since I got pregnant that my vagina smells REALLY strongly of onions. It has only gotten worse as the pregnancy progresses, and I just can't stand it anymore! None of my blood/urine cultures show anything out of the ordinary, so it couldn't be an infection. It happens no matter what I eat, and I've actually hardly been eating onions, since the taste and smell has been making me sick from the beginning of this pregnancy. Anyone else have this problem? Any success in treating it?

Try a vaginal wash and exchange toilet paper for wipes n also try cotton panties bc they allow ur vagina to brethe

When pregnant more bacteria grows in all areas (armpits,head, feet, vagina) it's most likley and over growth of bacteria just buy a body wash that helps with OH balance and you should be good

Im also experiencing it now , im 20weeks pregnant then idk why is my discharge smells like onion

Bv is a pH imbalance, u can be really really clean and still get it..actually being to clean, certain soaps, sperm, to much sugar all that can throw off your pH and give u bv...but I don't think u have bv. I really think its your hormones making u sweat and have a different smell.

It may be just sweats.. n if you are up n around + plus discharge n sweating makes the smell on my opinion

Most likely from you sweating when i get hot down there it smells lil like onions too.. Try wearing clothes that let u breath down there...

I highly doubt it's bacterial vaginosis, as the doctor said my urine sample and vaginal swabs were the cleanest they've ever seen. (I'm generally a very, very sanitary person) I'll have to try shaving or waxing and see that helps. My husband can smell it too, especially after sex... so I know I'm not the only one smelling it, unfortunately. Super embarrassing...

I think its from hormones... Yeast usually doesn't smell and bv if u have a smell with it is usually a fishy smell. To me sweat smells like onions!!!

I had a similar problem. Maybe it was just from peeing so much. Idk. I now wash that area like 2-3 times a day now, and i shaved that area the other the day...so i think that helped a lot. I haven't been able to reach my vagina that well and haven't seen it in a few months now so my husband finally shaved it for me. He says he never smelled anything so maybe it was just the pregnancy sniffer. I also use baby wipes now to wipe instead of just regular toilet paper. Now i don't smell anything. I couldn't figure it out, but it would gross me out.
