TMI: But im desperate for help!

So this is a bit TMI but im so tired and desperate for any advice or help. I have had an issue with constipation for a while now. It seems like atleast once or twice and even 3 times a week I cannot use the bathroom. I feel it there and needing to come out but it just doesn't. I try coffee or coca cola ( i normally do not drink caffiene ) because I heard caffiene can help things get going. Im not sure what type of OTC help I can get until my appointment on the 25th. I have a very good and balanced diet with plenty of fruit and veggies, but it never fails that I cannot poop.

Does anyone here have any at home remedies I can try that is safe while pregnant? Im almost 31weeks, and im desperate for some relief until the 25th when I can get in to see my doctor.

Thanks in advance.

colace colace colace....I swore by it my first 2 pregnancies...I took it every day..I had to.  I havent had that isue with this pregnancy though, thank God!  Anyway it is totally safe to take and it REALLY helps!!!  Just make sure what you buy is Colace, and not PERIcolace......pericolace has a laxative in it, and I dont think its safe, but def. give colace a try.
