TTC while nursing?

I was just curious if anyone is or has tried to concieve while nursing.  My DS is almost 6 months old and I have had AF twice since birth, but it is irregular (which is normal for me b/c AF was irregular prior to concieving baby number 1).  I was just wondering if there are any tips besides the normal stuff for TTC -  like any special considerations, is it harder/easier, etc.  thanks!

it does not matter if you have your period or not while breastfeeding. it is not a form of birth control. i got pregnant while breastfeeding and i did not have a period at all. when i questioned the doctor he said you still ovulate even if you dont bleed. so i would say just keep tring the normal things and it will happen.

If you are having a period while you are breastfeeding then you can TTC as usual.   I was breastfeeding and had two very light period didn't think much of them and got pregnant again.  My two youngest will be 14 months apart!

I know of two women that got pregnant while nursing. It's probably less likely you'll get pregnant because both of their dr.s told them that breastfeeding was a form of BC.
