I have been on depo for a year.  Me and the boyfriend want to try having a baby but im not due for another shot till june the 23 so that means it wont be wearing off anytime soon.  My questions are how slim of a chance would it be to get pregnant while still on the depo and how long after could it take for me to get pregnant.  Advice is much needed. thank =]

My b/c pills were messed with for three months (ilness, antibiotics etc) and I got pregnant because of it I believe the month that they were going back into affect

I noe you guys aren't trying to scare me because its the truth.  I do like to think of the positive and the negative.  Has anyone successfully became pregnant off of depo or any other birth control shorter then the expected time of gaining back fertility?

my SIL was on depo for a year, missed her next shot so her and her boyfriend could try getting pregnant...it took her a lil over a year before she concieved and everytime she went to the doc during that year there was nothing wrong......her doc said it takes up to a year sometimes before your body can regenerate after depo but all docs info are different! best of luck to you during youe ttc journey!

Hi, I was on depo for one year too, after stopping i and hubby ttc for almost 1 and 1/2 months, i tell you it was devastating. i finally conceived but 3 months down the line it turned out to be a blighted ovum..sorry i'm not trying to scare you but i'd advice you check with your doc about the side effects....
