The Doctors

Hi.. so I'm 35 weeks today and I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon and everytime I go to the doctor I get kinda frustrated because I have experience so much pain in my pregnancy and everytime I tell my doctor they always say everything that I'm telling them is normal and maybe I am over exaggerating but the pain is just horrible to be normal and then I be thinking something maybe wrong with the baby but it's like they don't even want to check they just measure my belly let me hear the heartbeat & send me on my way and I have asked for another ultrasound to make sure but it's like they refuse to give me another 1 because they say everything looked normal in my first ultrasound but I haven't had 1 since 16 weeks and I don't think that's fair like what am I supposed to do to get through to them that I want to see what's going on inside of me because I be feeling like something is wrong ???

I agree with rockrose. If all your growth and heart beat stuff is fine there's nothing to stress about.  Trust your doctor. Pregnancy is horrible to our bodies (well for most of us, damn you lucky ladies who go through pregnancy so brezzy!lol) now when you need to contact your doctor should have been discussed with you. But in general if you are cramping with tightening that are getting worse and can be timed for an hour, if you are bleeding bright blood like a period, your membranes rupture or if you have concerns ectect. Do not, not contact them if your worried but they may just say its normal, which is fine! Its good in fact. Good luck mama.

Shunda,  you've got a couple things going on here.

If there was something wrong with the baby,  it wouldn't cause you pain.  So although your back hurts and that's hard,  it's not because there might be something wrong with the baby.

The heartbeat says it all. If the heartbeat is strong and regular,  your baby is fine.

It sounds like they have to justify sonograms to get paid for them,  and they don't see any problems that would justify it.
