Yeah like I said, I wish things had occurred to me earlier. My OB asked me who my pediatrician was going to be, and I was like, "Uh, I dunno" lol. By the way, if you have no clue, your OB can usually give you a list of potential doctors. You can check them out online, and a lot of people recommend that you meet with them before the baby's born to see if you think it's a good fit. Same is true for daycare, I'm in the process of making appointments with daycares to see what they're like. Especially if your baby needs daycare very early, infant rooms sometimes have waiting lists so it's not a bad idea to check them out soon.

I found out at five weeks, and I'm now 31w3d and it seems like it went so fast, until last week... Now it seems like it is dragging. I'm going crazy. I just want my little guy here!

I found out at 4 weeks and am currently 28 weeks, and time does drag sometimes. It helps once you find out the gender because then you can make little adjustments to the nursery, and start looking at cute little clothes. It might also help to figure out what's happening for your baby shower, and start planning that. Now that I've hit the third trimester, it feels like it's going faster and now I have so much to do. I'm trying to organize all my closets and cabinets to make sure I have room for all the baby stuff that's coming in. You can also figure out who your pediatrician is going to be, figure out how to preregister for the hospital and what you need to pack in your hospital bag, and figure out what to do for daycare. All those things are things it didn't occur to me to do until a later, and now it's all hitting me at once, at the same time that the fatigue has come back and I'm starting to do the waddle lol. Luckily I'm going on maternity leave soon.

My husband is actually the one that keeps saying that to me.  I just keep saying baby needs to bake some more first.   keep yourself busy because the time will start to fly by.   I know that I am only actually working 1 more full week until I'm off for my mat leave and there is so much to do still!

The excitement will come back once you feel your little one punching and kicking you! Soon you can (if you choose to) find out the sex....that will re-excite you too! I have had my days too where I tired of it....just try to space out the baby stuff that way you get excited looking forward do doing stuff! (Example the nursery don't do it all at once)

It depends on when you find out that you are preggo. I am 25weeks and found out at 2weeks3days so time just DRAGS! I found out crazy early with my other pregnancies too so you really get to experience the WHOLE pregnancy. Lol Hang in there :)
