Tomorrow

So tomorrow is the big 3-hour glucose test. Im not too excited but its something that I have to do. I have a question though. Do they actually take your blood or do they just ***** your finger like they do on the 1-hour test? I hate needles!!! Also my doctor just told me to fast. Can I drink water or no I cant drink anything?

The drink actually wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. It tasted like flat sweet orange soda. My OB had it cold though so that might have made it taste better.

I had it done in the fall and it's a blood draw each time...although my 1 hour was as well, so I'm not sure how they will do it with you......You're not supposed to even drink water, but I have to admit that I snuck a few sips in.....I can't go that long without anything....Just no eating, exercise, gum, smoking during the actual test......It's not as bad as it sounds....Just a pain in the butt b/c it's so time consuming.
