Too early to test?

Hi Everyone,

I'm due to get my period at the end of next week (probably the 17th or 18th).  My husband and I have just started ttc... I had what could have been some very sparse implantation bleeding 2 days ago (on Weds) and this entire week I have had extremely sore and tender breasts.  (I usually get mild breast tenderness prior to my period but nothing like this!!)

Would tomorrow morning be too early to do an early-result test?  I know I'm being impatient but I am just dying to know, it is driving me insane!   :)

if you got a faint post and you read it in the right time it is a post!! yay!!!

I would try to wait till closer to your period.. With my first pregnancy I used ClearBlue Digital and got a postive 5 days before, but that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage shortly after.. as for this pregnancy I was very impatient.. knowing I would get a bfn I took a test 6 days before on my fiance's birthday negative of course, then I took one four days before still bfn, but by the day my period was due I took one and it was positive..so I'd try to wait a little closer! Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions!!! SO helpful.  I tested this morning (I know, I know... I just had to TRY) and i got a VERY faint positive.  It was really helpful to know that I could test negative right up until the day of my missed period- makes me feel alot better!

yep, wait until at least 3 days before you're period is due....i used EPT 3 days before and got a +...if nothing 3 days before, try again the next day!  best of luck!

I've heard that EPT has a really good early detection test but I agree with everyone on here that you may want to wait a bit longer.  Maybe you could test on Mon. or Tues. morning.  Make sure to use first morning urine.  HCG levels are higher first thing in the morning.  Sounds like all positive signs to me though.  Check out the web site www.peeonastick.com.  Lots of good info.  Good luck and let us know!!!

I agree, you should wait until you're closer to your expected period. With my first pregnancy I was SO impatient that I tested every day (sometimes more than once!) from 4 days all the way to the expected period day. I tested ++ on the expected period day, and all the others were negative - a HUGE waste of money (HPTs are expensive!!) Hang in there, and try your best to be as patient as possible. I am currently nearing the end of my 2WW so I completely relate. I'm so excited/nervous, it sucks!!... We are testing on Monday and praying for a +++ (had a m/c with my first last fall.) Best of wishes to you!! I'd say your possible implanation bleeding & sore breasts are a really good sign. :-D

prob wait and test 3 or 4 days befor your period is due. good luck!! more than likely get a bfn now
