Trouble focusing eyes

I am 28 weeks pregnant and for the past week I have been expeincing blurry vision with both eyes. Binocular.  But when I just look with one eye, monocular, things are clear!  I just had my gluclose testing and it came out just fine.  Do you think that there could be anything else wrong with my eyes or in my sinuses.  I have had a bad head cold too for about 2 weeks.  Just started antibiotics today! Any thoughts?

I just went to the eye doctor to get new glasses. She said that during pregnancy, the muscles in your eye tend to relax, so that makes it harder to focus. I agree with the others, it should go back to normal after you deliver.

Thank you all.  I had a little spotting and cramping this week so I am on bad rest now to see if it stops. I am 29 weeks.  I am suppose to call my doc. this afternoon to tell him how I am doing.  If I get up...like today to take a shower my whole abdomen cramps (huge braxton hicks) This makes me nervous. I hurried up with shower and got back into bed.

Im 28 weeks and have had funny vision lately too... when I asked my doc about it he said its common for your vision to change durring preg.  Since my blood pressure and pee test always come back fine hes not concerend, like joyrenee said, it should go back shortly after baby is born.

Hi Cindin.  I would advise that you go and see your  doctor.  I had blurred vision with my first child which ended in me having Pre eclampsia.  (High blood pressure during pregnancy)  It might be something els but this is the only symptom i had and only after a blood pressure test and urine test could they diagnose me.  I had no headache nausea or any of the other symptoms. Pre eclampsia for me in both my previous pregnancies started at 27 weeks.  Please have it checked out - don't want to stress you out - could be something els.  Both my little ones was fine born at 37 and 39 weeks with bed rest and constant monitoring.

All the best and hope you find the cause
