Trying To Conceive

I'm frustrated because I'm wanting to conceive but I haven't had my period in about three or four months and I know for sure that I am not pregnant now. Someone told me that I could still get pregnant if I'm getting ready to have my period at the time of intercourse but then I'm told that there's no chance at all until I've had a period. Is there any chance of me being able to conceive without having a period?

Thank you, that answers my question as far as UTI's causing infertility because I was worried about that too but I'm going to set up an appointment with my Doctor this week to find out what I can do to have my period. Pray that I get knocked up and I'll pray that you're knocked up! LOL. Thank you!

I know how you feel.  I just took my first HPT and it was a very very faint positive (one line was bolder than the other) so I'm still in the dark.  I've been experiencing symptoms as well but not sure if I am pregnant.  I also had chronic UTI's for a while,, 4or 5 of them in a span of 6 weeks.  The doc told me that it won't affect my fertility because it's in the urethra not the cervice or uterus.  Not sure if the antibiotics affect fertility tho.....

I hate that women can get pregnant no problem but some take months or years to get pregnant. I've been trying for three months now and I have twice now had symptoms that made me positive that I was pregnant but it turned out that I wasn't. I'm so sad and frustrated all the time and it's just on my mind all the time and I hate it. I have had a lot of medical issues and chronic UTI's and I'm hoping that antibiotics and other medications that I have taken in the past didn't make it so I can't get pregnant. Would you know anything about that? Thank you for your last response.

you can ovulate even without haing a menstrual cycle. so i was told by some doctor that i have worked for. but im not a doctor and a M.A.

See my Doctor about what exactly? Problem with not having my period or to get a pregnancy test? Is it possible to become pregnant even though I haven't had my period for the past few months?

You should see your doctor, I would do this soon it will give you peace of mind, better knowing than guessing... Good luck
