Trying for a baby. Could i be pregnant?

Hey girls. Im new at this so i have alot of questions. My fiance and i are trying to have a baby. I had my period in April, but it was a week late and now it May 14th and i havent started yet. My boobs are very tender to the touch, but my nipples are not. I have felt nauseas. And i had some cramping and i never cramp. I have felt constipated and today my stomach feels hard to me. Im not sure if its too soon to take a test. I was going to wait for a couple more days. I feel like i am pregnant but it could be because i want it so bad. What do you think is going on? Could i be?

Yes, start prenatals and if you have quesitons, you can PM me (private message). I just had my first in February.......and she is a blessing!!! Keep us updated during your pregnacny...and when you find out your due date. which you can probably figure out by the first day of your last period...join the forum for that month too. For instance, I am a member of February 2009 mommies (which is now renamed Little Miracles) since all of our babies are already born!

So i have good news!!! I took a test lastnight and i am pregnant!!! I am so excited! Scared, but thrilled! I just want to let you know! So now im really going to need your advise. Not really sure what to do. I will learn though.

Thank you for the abbreviations. Yes i am late for my AF. It was late last month. It ended on the 15th. So i started around the 10th. If it was late last month does that mean anything? But yes i am late.

Are you late for AF? I would wait til either the day AF is due or a couple days after. If you are not due for AF yet....then I would not test yet. It all depends on when you ovulate and how many days you are post ovulation! There is a great book, "Taking Charge of your Fertility" that explains alot and helps you learn about when you are ovulating (the peak time to get pregnant) and all of the signs to determine this.
ALso, if you are trying to get pregnant, make sure you are taking a prenatal vitamin too!
