Twin pregnancy

I am 27 weeks with twins and the dr. is going to start me on steroids, baby b has problem with cord flow. baby b weighs 2.7 pds and baby a weighs 2.4pds so i was wondering how long till they decide to take the babies?

As Clysta said - they'll keep them in there as long as possible whether that is 36 weeks or 38 weeks. Hopefully they continue to watch Baby B's cord issue very closely, though. If the cord issue starts to look scary they'll take the babies regardless if they're full term or not because they may fair better in NICU than in the womb at that point.

Wow babies seem to be growing great! I agree with the other comment that they will wait until at least 34 weeks. They will probably just be precautious because ultrasounds are never really 100% on weight but you are almost there!!! Good luck.

They typically will keep them in for as long as it's safe. That's really up to your doctors on when they choose to. You'll probably be 34+ weeks before it's discussed, but again this is your doctors preference and what they feel is safe.
